Honey Banana Bites

Ingredients

Chocolate Ganache

  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips 
  • ¼ cup peanut butter 
  • 2 tsp coconut oil

Directions

Slice your bananas into thin slices.  Mix together peanut butter and honey. 

Spread a small amount (about ½ teaspoon) onto half of the banana slices, then top each with another slice of banana.  Place the bananas on a lined baking sheet, and place them in the freezer for at least 4 hours. 

Chocolate Ganache

Right before you take the bananas out of the freezer, combine the chocolate chips, peanut butter and coconut oil in a microwave safe bowl.  

Place in the microwave in 15 second intervals, stirring between each time, until completely melted.  

Take your banana bites out of the freezer, then either dip them in the chocolate ganache or drizzle the chocolate ganache over each one. Serve immediately, or store in the freezer for up to a week.
