The Number-One Branded Honey Company Will Select 5 Educators to Participate; Each Educator Will Be Awarded $1,000

MCKINNEY, TEXAS – May 20, 2019 – As the school year draws to a close, Nature Nate’s Honey Co., the number-one branded honey company in the U.S. and producer of 100% Pure, Raw & Unfiltered Honey, is asking kindergarten, 1st grade and 2nd grade teachers and home educators from across the country to help develop a lesson plan teaching young students about the importance of bees, pollination and honey.

As part of Nature Nate’s Long Live the Bees initiative, which promotes bee health, the company will collaborate with 4 teachers and 1 home educator, who will participate in a lesson plan workshop and craft a lesson plan. In appreciation for the teachers’ time and expertise, Nature Nate’s will award each participating teacher with $1,000 and lesson plan printables for his or her classroom.

“Bees not only give us delicious honey, but they also sustain our ecosystems,” said Nathan Sheets, founder and CEO, Nature Nate’s. “It’s our responsibility to make a positive impact on the future of bee health. We are excited to partner with teachers and home educators around the country to help teach young minds about how to support bee populations and healthy hives.”

To be eligible to participate, applicants must be an active kindergarten, 1st grade or 2nd grade teacher or a home educator who has taught early education to his or her children. Nature Nate’s will accept the first 300 applications. To apply, visit: https://info.naturenates.com/lltb-teacher-apply.

In addition to providing lesson plans and educational tools for kids, the company also invested in formal conservation research programs at Cornell University, University of Georgia, Texas A&M University and University of Texas – Dallas.
