Texas Chicken Waffle Tailgating Sandwiches

- 12 frozen waffles (square shaped)
- Nonstick spray
- 28 oz package frozen crispy chicken strips
- 12 slices cooked bacon
- ⅔ cup buffalo sauce
- 4 oz container crumbled bleu cheese
- ¾ cup butter, melted
- ¾ cup Nate’s 100% Pure Honey (plus more for serving)
Heat oven to 400ºF. With a sharp knife, slice waffles on the diagonal.
Spray the bottom of a 11 x 17-inch baking dish with nonstick baking spray. Arrange 6 waffles in the bottom of the dish. Top with chicken strips and bacon, drizzle with buffalo sauce and sprinkle on bleu cheese. Arrange waffles on top. Skewer each sandwich with a bamboo cocktail skewer. Drizzle sandwiches with butter and honey.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until chicken is heated through and top waffles are golden and crispy.
Serve with honey for dipping or drizzling.
