Sunflower Seed Hummus or Tacos

This creamy, guilt-free dip is best served with veggies, or add a little something to your everyday tacos.

Ingredients

1/2 cup raw sunflower seed butter

1/2 cup raw sunflower seeds

1/3 cup lemon juice

4 cloves garlic

1 tablespoon Nature Nate’s Raw & Unfiltered Honey

1 teaspoon cumin powder

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1/2 teaspoon mineral salt

1/2-3/4 cup water

Directions

Process all ingredients until very creamy.

Add water to achieve desired texture.

Puree again (the longer the better!).

Makes about 1 1/2 cups.

Serve with julienne vegetables.

Veggies:

2 cups shredded cabbage and carrot slaw mix

3 green onions, chopped

1 tablespoon Nature Nate’s Raw & Unfiltered Honey

1/2 teaspoon Adobo seasoning (or mineral salt)

1 teaspoon onion powder, optional

Toss together and set aside.

Tacos:

Spoon “Cheese” inside two butter lettuce leaves that are layered.

Spoon veggies on top.

Garnish with fresh halved cherry tomatoes and avocado slices.
