Ingredients
- 4 oz water
- 3-inch piece of fresh ginger, roughly chopped
- 1/8 tsp ground cloves
- 1/8 tsp ground allspice
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- 4 oz Nate’s pure honey
- ½ tsp vanilla
- 2 oz espresso
- 6 oz milk of choice, steamed or frothed
- optional: honey-sweetened whipped cream additional cinnamon for garnish
Directions
Bring water, ginger, cloves, allspice, and cinnamon to boil in a small sauce pan. Remove from heat, and stir in honey and vanilla. Let steep for at least 15 minutes. Strain and store in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
To make a latte, add espresso and 1 or 2 Tbsp of the spiced honey syrup to a mug. Pour in steamed milk. Top with a sprinkle of cinnamon and/or honey-sweetened whipped cream.
