Matcha Green Tea Pick-Me-Up

These hot or cold caffeinated green tea recipes will give you something to sip on all day no matter the weather!

Ingredients

Matcha Magic:

  • 4 cups water
  • 4 bags Matcha green tea
  • 1-inch knob fresh ginger
  • 2 cups fresh power greens
  • 1/3-1/2 cup Nature Nate’s Raw & Unfiltered Honey
  • 4 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest

Almond Matcha Frothy:

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 2 bags Green Matcha Tea
  • 3 tablespoons Nature Nate’s Raw & Unfiltered Honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure almond extract


Directions

Matcha Magic:

Boil water.

Add teabags and steep for about 5 minutes.

Allow to cool.

Add brewed tea and all remaining ingredients to a blender.

Blend well.

Strain twice through a mesh sieve.

Serve hot or cold.

Almond Matcha Frothy:

Heat milk and water until frothy.

Add teabags and allow to steep for 3-5 minutes.

Remove teabags, add honey and almond extract.

Heat briefly again, to ensure froth!
