Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp coconut or vegetable oil
- 1 small white onion, diced small (about 1 cup)
- 1 red bell pepper, diced small
- 1 large head of broccoli, cut into small florets
- 1½ tsp salt
- 1 Tbsp minced garlic
- 2 tsp minced ginger root
- 4-oz package Diamond of California Hot Honey Walnuts
- 2 cups teriyaki sauce, store bought or homemade
- Rice, for serving
Directions
In a large saute pan, heat the oil over medium high heat. Add the onion, bell pepper, brocolli and salt to the pan, then sprinkle with salt and stir to combine. Saute for 8-10 minutes, or until slightly tender.
Add in the garlic and ginger and cook for another 60 seconds, or until fragrant. Remove from the heat, then stir in the hot honey walnuts and teriyaki sauce and combine. Serve over rice.
