Ingredients
- 1½ cups water
- ⅔ cup white wine vinegar
- ⅔ cup Nate’s 100% Pure Honey
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground turmeric
- 4-6 cloves garlic
- ¼ tsp crushed red pepper
- 1 large English cucumber
- 2 large carrots (long)
Directions
Combine all but carrots and cucumber in a medium sauce pan. Bring to a boil and remove from heat.
While cooling, slice cucumber and carrots in very long and thin slices with a carrot peeler. Place them in two pint jars. Pour the cooled liquid until the vegetables are completely covered.
Keep in refrigerator for up to two weeks.
