Honey Caramel Dip
Yield: 1 Serving
Prep Time: 5 Minutes
Total Time: 1 Hour 50 Minutes
- 1 cup Nate’s 100% Pure Honey
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ tsp salt
- 5 Tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
Directions
In a medium-sized sauce pot, whisk together the honey, heavy cream and salt. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then lower the heat to a simmer over medium-low heat.
Simmer for 13-15 minutes, whisking slowly but constantly. If the mixture bubbles up, remove it from the heat for a few seconds to let the bubbles die down, then bring back to the heat and continue cooking.
Once the caramel is done cooking, remove from the heat and stir in the butter and vanilla extract. Let it cool for about 20-30 minutes on the counter, then let it finish cooling in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
Once the caramel has cooled completely, serve as a dip for apples, pretzels, graham crackers and more!
