Honey Candied Yams with Pecans

Ingredients
  • ¼ cup of Nate’s 100% Pure Honey
  • ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground ginger
  • 4 large yams, peeled and cut into ½-inch slices or 1-inch cubes
  • ½ cup toasted pecans

Directions

Preheat oven to 375°F. Whisk together the honey, olive oil, cinnamon and ginger and pour half of the mixture into the bottom of a baking dish. Lay the yams in a single layer on top and pour the rest of the honey mixture on top. Roast for 30 minutes.

Place the yams in a serving dish and add the toasted pecans to the baking dish to toss the rest of the cooking liquid with the pecans. Pour over the yams and serve.
