Grilled Asparagus Rafts

Try a new summertime take on grilled veggies! Drizzled with soy sauce and honey, these easily crafted asparagus rafts are sure to impress with their sweet and smoky flavor.

  • 36 stalks asparagus
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons Nature Nate’s Raw & Unfiltered Honey
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 8-4 inch wooden skewers

Heat grill to medium high. Clean asparagus and slice the bottom one inch from each stem. Thread eight asparagus stalks in a row on skewers. Use two skewers per raft, one at the top and one at the bottom. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil and honey. Baste asparagus with mixture and place on grill. Continue to baste every one to two minutes. Cook on both sides until tender. Garnish with sesame seeds and drizzle with any extra sauce.
