Enjoy this meatloaf all on its own, or slice and serve on a bun for succulent sliders. Either way, you can't go wrong with this fire-roasted tomato and honey meatloaf.

Ingredients

Meatloaf

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 lb hot Italian sausage
  • ⅓ cup rolled oats
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt

Topping

  • 14.5 oz can fire roasted tomatoes
  • 1 large jalapeño pepper
  • 3 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • ¼ cup Nate’s 100% Pure Honey

Directions

Meatloaf

Preheat oven to 350°F. Stir together meatloaf ingredients until evenly combined. Shape into 3 small loaves (in 3 x 5 x 2-inch pans). Set aside.

In a small saucepan, combine topping ingredients. Stir over medium-low heat for about 30 minutes, until sauce is reduced and thickened. Spoon evenly on top of the 3 loaves. Bake for about 40 minutes. Can slice when cooled.

Sliders

Slice meatloaves into 2-inch thick slices. Serve on slider buns with mayonnaise, dill pickles and lettuce.
