Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup Nature Nate’s 100% Pure, Raw & Unfiltered Honey
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup flaxseed meal or hemp seeds
- 1/3 cup cornmeal or quick oats
- 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
- 1 cup chopped nuts, any kind
- 1/2 cup coconut or cornflake
- 1/2 cup dried fruit (raisins, craisins, dried blueberries, dates, etc.)
- 1 cup chocolate chips (any kind…white chocolate, butterscotch, caramel)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
Directions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Combine honey, butter, vanilla, salt, and egg. When creamy, add flour, cornmeal, and flax. Mix in remaining ingredients, saving a few chocolate chips, nuts, and coconut to decorate the tops. Spoon mounds onto baking sheet with a small ice cream scoop. Bake 12-15 minutes until golden.
