Earl Grey Tea Latte with Honey Cashew Milk

Tea and honey is a classic pairing that never goes out of style. But that doesn't mean you can't dress it up, and this Earl Grey Tea Latte with Homemade Honey Cashew Milk does exactly that.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup raw, organic cashews
  • 3 cups filtered water, plus more for soaking nuts
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 Tbsp Nate’s 100% Pure Honey, plus more for drizzle
  • 2 Earl Grey tea bags or 2 tsp loose Earl Grey tea
  • 1 cup water

Directions

First, make the honey cashew milk by placing raw cashews in a glass container and filling with water to cover. Soak overnight. In the morning, strain the cashews and rinse well. Place the cashews in a high powered blender, along with 3 cups water, cinnamon, vanilla extract and honey, cover and blend on high until completely smooth. Store in a glass jar in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

To make the latte, steep the tea bags or loose tea in 1 cup of boiling water on the stove for 3-5 minutes. While the tea is steeping, steam the already prepared cashew milk in a second pot over medium heat on the stove. When the tea has finished steeping, remove the bags or strain any loose tea. Pour into a mug and fill half way. Take the steamed cashew milk and pour over the tea until mug is filled. Top with a drizzle of honey. Sip and enjoy.
