Total Time 35 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cake flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- ½ cup Nature Nate’s pure honey, plus 1 cup for honey sauce
- 2 large eggs
- ¾ cup cream
- 2 Tbsp melted butter
- 2 apples, such as gala or Fuji, peeled, cored, and cubed
- ½ cup water
Directions
Heat oven to 350 degrees. In an electric mixer, add both flours, baking powder, and salt, and mix to combine. Add the honey, eggs, cream, and melted butter, and mix on medium high for two minutes. Stir in cubed apples until well-incorporated. Scoop into a greased mini bundt pan, donut, or muffin tin and bake for 20 minutes. Gently remove the fritters onto a baking sheet topped with a cookie rack, flip, and bake for another five minutes. In a separate bowl, combine the cup of honey with half a cup of water and stir to combine. Dip each fritter in the honey and allow to cool on the cookie rack before serving.
