Apple Slaw with Ginger Honey Cream

This great-tasting cole slaw is made from scratch, and it's anything but boring. A simple cold side dish for entertaining or tailgating, try this twist on a yummy classic cole slaw at your next barbecue! You can even add with grilled shrimp for a yummy Taco Tuesday fiesta.

Did you know that cole slaw comes from the dutch term, koolsla, which means "cabbage salad," and recipes have been found as early as the 1770's. Ingredients
  • 3 fresh apple, cored and sliced very thinly
  • 1/3 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup Nature Nate’s Raw & Unfiltered Honey
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions

Whisk all but apple together until well blended in a medium sized bowl. Stir in apples and coat well. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
