Apple Slaw with Ginger Honey Cream
Did you know that cole slaw comes from the dutch term, koolsla, which means "cabbage salad," and recipes have been found as early as the 1770's. For a refreshing, spring or summertime recipe, this colorful and tasty creation will grace your table and wow your guests at your next event. A must-have for fried chicken or barbecue pulled pork, but really, the combinations are endless. For our new take on an old classic, try this apple slaw recipe below.

- 3 fresh apple, cored and sliced very thinly
- 1/3 cup plain yogurt
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1/3 cup Nature Nate’s Raw & Unfiltered Honey
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Whisk all but apple together until well blended in a medium sized bowl. Stir in apples and coat well. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
