MCKINNEY, TEXAS – November 1, 2023 – Nature Nate’s Honey Co., the number-one branded honey company in the U.S. and producer of 100% pure, raw & unfiltered honey, continues its support of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) by sponsoring One Walk events in Dallas, Texas, and Ann Arbor, Michigan. The sponsorship is part of Nate’s corporate giving initiative, Honey Gives Hope, which helps families and communities across the U.S. and beyond.

The JDRF One Walk events drive awareness, enable advocacy, and fund support for the 1.6 million Americans living with Type 1 diabetes. As sponsors of the One Walk events, Nate’s will provide perfectly portioned packets of 100% pure honey, honey minis, at the Low Blood Sugar Stations to support the wellness goals of attendees and the community. To learn more about the use of honey for people living with Type 1 diabetes, check out the article “Snack Ideas for Treating Low Blood Sugar.”

“It’s our nature to give back, and as responsible stewards of pure honey, an all-natural sweetener, we are proud to continue to contribute to the JDRF community,” said Nathan Sheets, President and CEO of Nate’s. “We are honored to support the One Walk events and join a committed community that is passionate about doing whatever it takes to live in a world without Type 1 diabetes.”

The contributions to the JDRF are part of the Honey Gives Hope program, an initiative to give back to families and communities. Last month, Nate’s announced a financial donation and distributed thousands of honey minis to the JDRF community during the busy back-to-school season.
