Pumpkin Spice Honey Syrup (makes ~ ½ cup)
- ¼ cup Nate’s Organic 100% Pure Honey
- ¼ cup water
- 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
Latte
- 1 tsp matcha powder
- 2 Tbsp warm water
- 1 – 2 Tbsp pumpkin spice honey syrup (to taste)
- 1 ⅓ cup milk of choice
- Pumpkin spice or cinnamon, for sprinkling
Directions
Pumpkin Spice Honey Syrup
In a small saucepan, combine honey, water and pumpkin spice. Heat gently over low until dissolved.
Continue to heat on low for 5 minutes until slightly thickened
Remove from heat, and let cool. Straining through a cheese cloth is optional, but if you’d like a clearer syrup, you can do so.
Store in a jar in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
Latte
Sift matcha into a bowl, add warm water, and whisk in a “W” motion until frothy.
Stir in 1–2 Tbsp pumpkin spice honey syrup into the matcha.
Warm milk in a saucepan (don’t boil), and froth with a whisk, frother or blender.
Pour the milk into a mug, then pour in the matcha. Sprinkle with cinnamon or pumpkin spice.
Stir gently, and enjoy!
