MCKINNEY, TX, October 1, 2016 – In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October, Nature Nate’s® Raw & Unfiltered Honey has partnered with National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to support their programs like patient navigation,  which guides patients through and around barriers in the complex cancer care system.

“Our own Nature Nate’s family has been impacted directly and indirectly by the breast cancer health crisis,” said Nathan Sheets, Chief Steward and founder, Nature Nate’s. “NBCF supports those facing breast cancer in our own families, in our communities and around our nation. Their mission and hard work mirrors our own commitment to help families in need. Working together, we can bring hope, help and heart to others.”

As part of their commitment to support those in need and help families lead healthy and abundant lives, Nature Nate’s unveiled the new partnership with the first annual Honey Gives Hope event, at the Nature Nate’s Farm in McKinney, Texas. Nature Nate’s and NBCF teams worked side-by-side to assemble 100 HOPE Kits for patients currently undergoing treatment.

HOPE Kits were made up of special items including, Nature Nate’s honey packets, unscented lotion, World’s Softest Socks, ginger tea, “Hope is Stronger Than Fear” bracelet, Beyond the Shock® brochure, and a HOPE Kit card – all designed to bring joy and hope to women undergoing breast cancer treatment.

As part of the NBCF-Nature Nate’s partnership, Nature Nate’s will unveil #honeygiveshope, a campaign to raise awareness and support those facing breast cancer. Via honeygiveshope.com and the Nature Nate’s social media channels, #honeygiveshope will encourage others to share their stories of hope. The campaign will also offer simple pink recipes throughout the month of October, all inspired by NBCF.

“Through initiatives like our HOPE Kits and Nature Nate’s Honey Gives Hope campaign, our mission is supported to provide help and inspire hope,” said Camilla Payne, Vice President of Marketing, National Breast Cancer Foundation. “With the welcome support of Nature Nate’s, our programs will continue to grow and serve women and families facing breast cancer.”
