Nate’s Supports Breast Cancer Awareness This October
Each October, Nate’s goes pink! For the eighth year in a row, we’re supporting breast cancer awareness with a donation to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) as part of our Honey Gives Hope program. With 1 in 8 women diagnosed with breast cancer, our long-standing partnership with NBCF is deeply meaningful to the entire Nate’s team, as we’ve all felt the impact of the breast cancer health crisis directly or through a family member or friend.
While we celebrate our commitment to breast cancer awareness each October, Nate’s investment in NBCF programs is year-round. Our annual sponsorship supports critical NBCF programs, which provide early detection, patient education, support services and patient navigation that guides patients around barriers in the complex cancer care system.
Our support also includes a donation for HOPE Kits. These packages are filled with thoughtful, comforting items that are distributed to patients as support and encouragement when they undergo breast cancer treatment. Earlier this year we also sponsored NBCF’s annual Advisory Council Networking Event and hosted a Fuzzy Sock Drive that matched fan donations for patients who could use some extra warmth, love and hope during treatment.
“We are grateful for Nature Nate’s eight-year partnership to support our mission of Helping Women Now through their Honey Gives Hope program,” said Janelle Hail, NBCF Founder and CEO. “The entire team at Nature Nate’s always steps up to provide help and inspire hope through packing HOPE Kits, collecting fuzzy socks for women undergoing treatment, and supporting our life-saving breast health programs and services. Their ongoing commitment over the years has helped provide over 10,000 services to women impacted by breast cancer across the country.”
Nate’s has a long history of supporting demand-based needs through the company’s Honey Gives Hope program. This year, Nate’s supported The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Kids Meals Inc., Jewish Family Service of Greater Dallas and more. We also invest in honey bee research at the leading institutions of Cornell University, University of California, Davis and University of Texas at Dallas. In 2022, Nate’s spread a sweet message of hope with financial and honey donations to more than 40 non-profit organizations across the U.S.
