Total Time: 55 Minutes
For the Chicken Crust
- 1lb ground chicken
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup parmesan cheese
- 1 Tbsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
Toppings
- ½ cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup Mozzarella cheese
- 15-20 pepperoni slices
- 2-3 Tbsp Nate’s Hot Honey, plus more to taste
Directions
Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a large rimmed baking sheet or pizza pan with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, eggs, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well blended.
Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking sheet and use a spatula or your hands to flatten it into a thin, even circle or rectangle (about ¼-inch thick). It’ll be sticky!
Bake for 20 – 25 minutes, or until the chicken crust is cooked through and edges are lightly golden.
Spread pizza sauce evenly over the baked crust. Top with mozzarella cheese and pepperoni slices.
Return to the oven and bake for another 15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly. For a crispier edge and pepperoni, place under the broiler for 2 minutes (watch carefully so it doesn’t burn!).
Remove from the oven and drizzle hot honey generously over the pizza while it’s still warm.
Let cool for a couple of minutes, then slice and enjoy!
