Yield: 2-4 Servings
Prep Time: 5 Minutes
Total Time: 10 Minutes
- 1.5 lb shrimp (raw, peeled, tails on or off)
- ¼ cup unsalted butter
- 3 Tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
- 6 garlic cloves, minced
- Pinch crushed red pepper flakes, to taste
- 2 Tbsp Nate’s 100% Pure Honey
- ½ cup dry white wine or broth
- ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Zest of 1 lemon
- ¼ cup lemon juice (juice ~1 lemon), plus more to taste
- Pinch of salt, plus more to taste
Directions
Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat until melted and bubbling. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds to 1 minute, until fragrant but not browned.
Stir in the crushed red pepper flakes. Cook for another 30 seconds, stirring to release the flavors.
Drizzle in the honey and pour in white wine or broth, scraping up any bits from the bottom of the pan. Simmer for 1 – 2 minutes.
Add the shrimp in an even layer. Cook for 1 – 2 minutes per side, just until pink and opaque, do not overcook.
Remove from heat and stir in the lemon zest, lemon juice, and fresh parsley. Taste and adjust with more salt or lemon juice as desired.
Serve immediately! Enjoy over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
