Paleo Banana Upside Down Cake

A little like banana bread, but served with honey-caramelized bananas on top. This grain-free, gluten-free cake makes a great breakfast!

  • 4 ripe bananas, peeled
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1 3/4 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2/3 cup Nature Nate’s Raw & Unfiltered Honey


In a stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment, combine 4 bananas, 4 eggs, coconut oil, almond flour and cinnamon.

Mix until mostly smooth.

Line the bottom of a 9” cake pan with parchment paper.

Drizzle with honey

Bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes, or until center springs back when touched lightly.

While still warm, invert cake onto a serving plate.

Top with whipped cream or whipped coconut cream.

Serve warm and enjoy!
