This Mother’s Day, we decided to skip the candy and flowers and instead gave back to real moms with real needs. It is our mission every day to make an impact far beyond our honey bottles, so we asked for your help in selecting one of four organizations to receive a donation through our Honey Gives Hope program. We are excited to announce that Operation Shower will receive our $10,000 donation this Mother’s Day!

Operation Shower

Operation Shower was founded in 2007, when LeAnn Morrissey had the idea to send a “baby shower in a box” to four expectant military moms whose partners were deployed. The support she received was overwhelming, and propelled her towards an even larger dream. LeAnn was inspired to host her first unit-wide baby shower at Ft. Bragg in North Carolina under the name Operation Shower. The name is now synonymous with spreading joy in times of uncertainty to expecting military families.

We are privileged to play a small role in making these real military moms-to-be feel loved and supported. Thanks to your vote, and the impactful work of Operation Shower, we’re all able to be part of something bigger this Mother’s Day. What could be sweeter than that?
