MCKINNEY, TEXAS – May 5, 2020 – In response to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, Nature Nate’s Honey Co., the number-one branded honey company in the U.S. and producer of 100% pure, raw & unfiltered honey, announces today a founding partnership with the Pantry to Pantry campaign – a multi-organization effort to provide COVID-19 relief through bulk food donations and financial support. The four-week campaign begins today and will run until June 5.

As children in need no longer receive meals in school and as Americans face rising unemployment, the Pantry to Pantry campaign will work with 7,600 Salvation Army centers, food and beverage brands, grocery retailers and other organizations across the country to help feed and shelter the homeless and support families who are experiencing food shortages.

“The COVID-19 crisis has created an unprecedented strain on individuals and families experiencing hunger,” said Nathan Sheets, Nature Nate’s President and CEO. “Our company exists so we can bless the lives of others. It’s our responsibility to help our neighbors and offer support to our most vulnerable. As a founding partner for the campaign, Nature Nate’s Honey Co. will raise awareness within the natural products industry and beyond to make the most impact possible. The Salvation Army will help pick-up and distribute bulk food donations across their network of Salvation Army centers.

Later this year, in phase two of the campaign, individuals and families will be able to offer small contributions of overstocked canned and boxed goods to help make a difference to so many in need throughout local communities in the U.S.

Since early March, Nature Nate’s Honey Co. has been committed to ongoing COVID-19 relief efforts. These efforts include coordinating meal deliveries to local women’s shelters, providing frontline healthcare workers with honey packets for all-natural energy, supporting National Breast Cancer Foundation’s efforts to help breast cancer patients navigate this uncertain time, and many other ongoing initiatives through Nature Nate’s Honey Gives Hope corporate giving program.
