Ingredients
- 2 cups 2% low fat milk
- ⅓ cup heavy cream
- 2 heaping Tbsp high-quality cocoa powder
- 2 heaping Tbsp Nate’s Nate’s 100% Pure Honey
- 1 tsp high-quality vanilla extract
Directions
In a sauce pan set to medium-low heat, combine all the ingredients, and whisk until the cocoa powder and honey are dissolved and incorporated. Be careful not to let the milk boil, but come to a slow, low simmer before turning off and removing from heat.
Strain through a fine mesh sieve. Place in a glass container, and allow to cool before refrigerating. (Or, if you’re looking for hot chocolate, serve warm.)
