Yield: 8
Prep Time: 5 Minutes
Total Time: 5 Minutes
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- ½ cup salted butter, softened to room temperature
- ¼ cup Nate’s honey
Optional Add-Ins:
- Vanilla: Seeds of 1 vanilla bean
- Cinnamon: ¼ tsp cinnamon, plus more to taste
- Chocolate: 2 Tbsp cocoa, plus more to taste
Directions
In a large mixing bowl with an electric mixer or a stand mixer fitted with a paddle or whisk attachment, beat the cream cheese on low-medium speed until completely smooth. Add butter and beat until smooth and well combined, scraping down the bowl as needed.
Add honey and beat on low speed until combined, increase speed to medium-high and beat for 1-2 more minutes until light and fluffy.
Use immediately for your frosting needs. If you’re wanting frosting to hold its shape, it does better cold, so pop it in the fridge for 30 minutes before using.
* If adding any add-ins, add them once honey has been incorporated, but before beating on medium-high.
