Ingredients
- ½ cup, plus 2 Tbsp Nate’s 100% Pure Honey, divided
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 2 apples, very thinly sliced
- ½ cup almond butter
- 4 slices whole wheat bread
- 4 slices whole-grain white bread
- ½ cup almond butter

Directions
In a small bowl, combine 1 tablespoon of honey and lemon juice. Toss apple slices in the honey mixture.
Combine almond butter and ½ cup honey. Spread the almond butter and honey mixture on the inside of all 8 pieces of bread. Place apples on the filling. Drizzle remaining honey over the apples and place top side of bread over them. Remove crusts from bread.
Cut each sandwich into 4 squares. Place squares side by side, alternating colors.
