Honey Matcha Latte

Strawberry Whip
- 1 cup quartered strawberries
- ¼ cup Nate’s Organic Honey
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp beet powder, optional
Matcha
- ½ tsp matcha
- ¾ cup warm water
- 1 tsp Nate’s Organic Honey
- ¼ cup milk
Directions
Add strawberries, honey and optional beet powder to a blender. Blend until smooth. Strain through a sieve and set aside.
Pour heavy cream into a bowl, and whip until *very soft* peaks form, do not over beat. Pour in the strawberry mixture, and whip until just combined. Set aside.
To make your matcha, whisk together matcha, honey and ¼ cup warm water until no lumps remain. Whisk in remaining water.
To a tall glass, add ice cubes and pour over matcha then milk. Stir strawberry whip before pouring over your matcha. Enjoy the taste and colors!
Note: If you’d like cold foam instead of whip, replace the 1 cup heavy cream with ½ whole milk, ¼ cup heavy cream and use a milk frother until frothed, then add ½ cup strained strawberry mixture. Swirl before pouring over matcha.
