Honey Creme Brûlée
Yield 8 Servings
Prep Time 10 Minutes
Total Time 45 Minutes
- 4 cups cream
- 6 egg yolks, beaten
- 1 cup Nate’s 100% Pure Honey, divided
- 1 tsp vanilla
- ¼ tsp salt
Whisk together all ingredients except ¼ cup honey. Pour mixture into eight ½-cup ramekins or small oven-proof cups. Place cups in a roasting pan and add water until it is about 1 inch deep.
Bake for 35-40 minutes, until centers are set. Cool and refrigerate until time to serve. Divide remaining honey equally on top of each brûlée. Place under broiler until it begins to turn brown and is bubbly. Serve immediately.
*This brûlée will not have the crunchy glaze that sugar-topped brûlées have, the top will be soft.
