Honey Apple Pie

Add a little extra sweetness to your Thanksgiving holiday with this Honey Apple Pie.

  • Pie crust for a two-crust, 10-inch pie
  • 6 cups cooking apples, peeled, cored and sliced
  • 1 cup Nate’s 100% Pure Honey, plus 2 Tbsp
  • ½ cup flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp apple pie spice
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 Tbsp butter

Preheat oven to 375°F. Layer bottom crust in a deep dish pie pan.

Combine apples, 1 cup honey, flour, salt, pie spice and lemon juice. Spoon into crust. Dot the apples with the butter. Layer top crust over apples. Crimp edges to seal. Sprinkle a bit of sugar and cinnamon on top. Cut several air slices into the top of the pie.

Bake for about 55 minutes. When slightly cool, drizzle 2 tablespoons honey on top.
