Ham & Asparagus Pizza with Honey Thyme Glaze

This cheesy and crispy pizza is a great use for that fresh asparagus you bought too much of. And, if you think your family might turn their noses up at a crunchy green topping, just wait until you let them be in charge of the golden honey drizzle on top.

  • 2 8×10-inch pre-baked flatbread, or 1 thin crust pizza
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 lb fresh asparagus
  • 1 cup ham pieces
  • 2 cups grated sharp white cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place flatbread on baking sheet. Combine olive oil and garlic powder. Brush evenly over the entire surface of the flatbread. Trim asparagus and cut into 2-inch pieces. Distribute over crust evenly with ham, thyme and cheese. Bake for 15 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden. Warm honey and drizzle over top just before serving.
