Frosted Peanut Bars

These PB&H bars are great for dessert or on-the-go snacks to sweeten your day.

Ingredients

Bars:

  • 1/2 cup Nature Nate’s Raw & Unfiltered Honey
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 rolled oats
  • 1 cup self rising flour
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Icing:

  • 1/3 cup Nature Nate’s Raw & Unfiltered Honey
  • 1/3 cup peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup butter, room temperature
  • 1 cup confectioners sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 cup chopped peanuts

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Combine all bar ingredients until evenly mixed.

Press into a lightly grease 8×8-inch baking dish.

Bake for  20-25 minutes, until golden.

Allow to cool. Whip together icing ingredients.

When fluffy, spread evenly over the cooled bars and cut into 16 squares.
